Guys, I need your help to stop this disgusting behaviour from a Facebook group (& e-commerce site behind it) with a big following called Supernatural – Fans that is peddling STOLEN designs and pretending they’re an official outlet for J2M charitable campaigns!
They’ve already stolen the latest SPN family values design as you can see in this screenshot – it loks legit, right? I’m sure that many fans do not know better and are just trusting this fan account. But the link you see on the screenshot there redirects to teechip.com, a company that has no respect at all for intellectual property and regularly steals designs. Check their twitter – they have multiple messages relating to stolen IP from creators, and if you google search them you’ll find tons of complaints along the same lines.
Creation Stands – the ONLY genuine sellers – have already tweeted about this being a scam here and here.
The designs are still up, however.
None of their proceeds will go to Jensen, Jared, and Misha’s charity, of course.This company is STEALING money away from a charitable cause and that disgusts me beyond words.
I think we need to spread the word! Call them out on Facebook, tweet at @teechipofficial, alert other fans they’re buying a fake…I’m not calling out for harassment of any kind, but of requests to take down the fake campaign, and just to make people aware where they can buy the one and only real deal.
Their facebook post has hundreds of comments from people saying they will buy a tshirt….all this could be going to the ACTUAL campaign. Let’s do our best to make sure people go to creation stands!
