There’s a difference between critique and criticism.

Apologies. I don’t usually post anything here apart from Mycroft appreciation, however, I’ve had a number of PMs ranting about the ‘ruination’ of Sherlock the show. Frankly, this behaviour is pointless and excessive, not to mention rude and thoughtless towards the writing team.

So what if the show didn’t give you your dreams – it’s a bloody TV show, not the lost ark of the covenant. For goodness sake, take a breath and step back. If you don’t like where the show has gone or what the characters are doing, then stop watching the thing. Ranting and raving at Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat is going to get you precisely nowhere. This is exactly the kind of behaviour that drove Steven away from Twitter, which was a huge shame as he was an amusing writer. Do you really want to drive the Gatiss/Moffat writing team off the air as well? Because that’s the only likely outcome of all this vitriol.

It’s a TV show, not the End of Days. Get a grip.
