If you find enjoyment in gaming and it makes you feel good / gives you something to look forward to, then that’s a positive outcome! If you feel bad because you’re not physically ‘producing’ something, then maybe set up a reward system for yourself so you can enjoy gaming without feeling guilty, which is counter-productive. But please don’t deny yourself something you enjoy just because you feel like you should be doing ‘better’ things with your time. Enjoy life!

But logically speaking I do have to do ‘better’ things with my time. ‘Better’ meaning here things that contribute to my own self-empowerment and indepencence.Distracting myself with gaming seems more like escapism than enjoyment? Sure, I do enjoy it, but I sometimes am unable to enjoy things in moderation >w<

But I’ll try a reward system. It’s just likely that I’ll end up doing more rewarding than actual tasks. I’m pretty bad at being a proper adult even though I’ve been an adult for over 10 years now. ;w;

I treat gaming as a reward for myself… I’m a single working, parent, who’s 36….it’s allowed! I’m not sure what being a grown up is anyway 😘
